Who is responsible
Tidemark is in an early test. The person responsible for your data (the “controller”) is [Full name]. You can reach me at [contact email].
What we collect
- Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or tell it to Tidemark.
- Your consent, and whether you chose to stay anonymous.
- Which invite link or QR code you came from.
- How far you got in the test, and when you were active.
- Your conversations with Tidemark and the notes it makes about you.
- Your answers to the survey, and whether you tapped “I want this”.
- Usage numbers, such as how many messages you sent and what they cost to process.
Why
To run the test, to understand what works and what doesn't, to improve Tidemark, to email you about the test, and to keep the service safe (for example by limiting how much one account can use).
We do this based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
Who sees it
During the test period, the founder of Tidemark reads conversations to improve the product. If you choose to stay anonymous, your name is hidden from that view. Your email is still visible so we can contact you. We never sell your data.
Services we use
- Supabase: database and sign-in. Servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
- Vercel: hosting the website.
- Anthropic: the AI model behind Tidemark's replies. Your messages are sent to Anthropic in the USA to generate a response. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this data is not used to train their models.
- Resend: sending email.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Where data leaves the EU/EEA, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. You keep your account after the test, so you can continue when Part 5 opens. If your account is inactive for 24 months, we'll email you, and then delete it.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Delete your account at any time from the Account page; everything is removed. For anything else, email [contact email]. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
